Solution
The Selling at my Best programme is a tailored solution designed specifically for Virgin Holidays.
It is a very intensive one day programme where we used Simulations and Forum Theatre to really get the sales and customer facing teams seeing how “Best Practice” Selling techniques can apply in their day to day activity.
In Forum Theatre we use professional actors to simulate the way a typical sales interaction with a customer would happen. It is very realistic and when people watch it they can really relate to it. We also build in “not best practice” so participants can see how it can be improved. Participants then have the opportunity to coach the actors in how to sell better. This innovative technique engages the participants in a very non-threatening and extremely captivating way.
The second technique involved running a series of Selling Master Classes which enabled the participants to simulate the selling techniques in a true to life scenario. Initially this was delivered in bite size chunks. Finally it was pulled together as a complete integrated process, with the professional actors playing the role of the customer.
