Trainee Business Development Consultant

We are working with Stockport based Bristow & Hardy, the digital marketing agency who specialize in recruitment. There is an exciting opportunity to join the business development side of Bristow & Hardy as they expand and grow their business. Reporting to the Director, you will assist in the onboarding of new clients and the development of existing accounts. You will also undertake the Higher Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship with Mercuri.

BRISTOW & HARDY

Established in 2018, Bristow & Hardy have grown to two main departments – Servicing & Business Development. Their Business Development team is responsible for ensuring new partnerships are made with recruitment companies, understanding client requirements and confirming budgets.

The role

Supporting the Business Development team, you will be involved in the whole Sales cycle of the business. During your first year of employment you will be responsible for building a contact base across the Employment sector. This will involve: Identifying new business leads; Converting business leads into active contracts; Budget negotiation and managing client expectations.

As a Trainee Business Development Consultant you will gain valuable experience learning on the job whilst working alongside your mentor and a LDC (Learning & Development Coach) from Mercuri. Bristow & Hardy will develop your skills so that you can be given additional responsibilities as your apprenticeship progresses. You will complete the Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship through a combination of multi-format learning methods to ensure you develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to achieve your apprenticeship.
