A wonderfully positive, articulate and realistic item on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, from two apprentices, who undertook their apprenticeships with Google and Mineral Technology, working in non-traditional apprenticeship disciplines. They described why they chose apprenticeships as opposed to university and gave genuine and compelling arguments for travelling this career route. More credible and believable than Government spin or industry body marketing. The real experience, first hand…. Bravo!
For all those motivated and aspiring young people who are currently stressing about exam results, there IS another route to career success which does not involve university.
